Val di Sole is a valley in northern Italy's Trentino region, famous for its snowy winters and thrilling whitewater rapids. With cold winters perfect for skiing at Folgarida-Marilleva (temperatures often drop to 20°F/-6°C) and mild summers ideal for rafting on the Noce River (around 75°F/24°C), you can hit the slopes from December to March, then bike the 100+ miles of trails when the snow melts.
